Sweaty Betty, the renowned sportswear retailer, has launched an exciting marketing move in London, allowing passersby to escape the rain.
Their latest installation features a moving billboard adorned with stylish outerwear from their current collection, including the Nimbus waterproof puffer, motion technical parka, and the on the move longline puffer jacket.
Named ‘All Good in the Hood’, this unique setup will be on display on December 3 and 4, offering Londoners not only a refuge from the elements but also an opportunity to snap photos and potentially win a coat.
This initiative comes after Sweaty Betty’s findings, which revealed that Brits discuss the weather an average of 17 times a week. A staggering 65% find it hard to chat without bringing it up, while 43% check the forecast before stepping out.
Despite these checks, 97% of people confess to being caught in the rain.
Melissa Mullen, CEO of Sweaty Betty, remarked: “British weather is unpredictable. That’s why we designed our outerwear to match its unpredictability: bold, prepared, and unstoppable. Our mission is to help women face any storm while looking fantastic.
“All Good In The Hood is not merely about evading the rain; it’s about confronting it head-on. We aim to stand out and seize the day, whatever the weather.”
