Deliveroo and the fashion rental platform Hurr are elevating their “dress to door” partnership.
This exciting collaboration is now reaching more areas in the UK, including cities like Manchester, Birmingham, Greater London, Kent, and further regions in Central London.
This announcement comes on the heels of last year’s trial focused on London, shining a light on the remarkable women who form the backbone of Hurr’s lending community.
For the first time, Deliveroo users will have the opportunity to rent clothing directly from local wardrobes managed by women across the UK, with a speedy delivery in as little as 20 minutes.
This initiative aims to uplift female entrepreneurs, allowing lenders to expand their businesses while offering customers quick and convenient access to fashionable outfits.
Through the Deliveroo app, users can explore a curated collection of pre-loved fashion selected from Hurr’s esteemed community lenders.
Each rental, sourced from this fashion retailer, includes a returns label and clear instructions for the process.
Suzy McClintock, Deliveroo’s vice president of new verticals, shared her enthusiasm: “We’re excited to expand our partnership with Hurr to more towns and cities across the UK just in time for the festive season.
“This next phase merges the speed of Deliveroo with the creativity and entrepreneurship of Hurr’s lender community, offering our customers even quicker, easier access to standout slow fashion.
“From unique gifts and holiday decorations to fashion choices, we are creating an engaging new hub for Christmas shopping.”
Adding her perspective, Hurr CEO Lauren Roberts emphasized: “Our community is the core of everything we do at Hurr, and this new chapter of our partnership with Deliveroo is dedicated to them—the thousands of incredible women who share their wardrobes and champion circular fashion every day.
“We are thrilled to bring ‘dress to door’ to a larger audience in the UK, empowering our lenders with new customers, broader reach, and additional earning potential through a platform as well-loved as Deliveroo.”
